URBAN CONTEXT ANALYSIS ACCORDING TO THE CONCEPT OF SPENCER'S BIOLOGICAL THEORY USING GIS: BALAD CITY CASE STUDY

تم تحليل مفاهيم نظرية التطور (بواسطة هربرت سبنسر) باستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية وفقا لمفاهيم حية في سياق المدينة الحضرية. حيث تم تطبيق فكرة النظرية على المجتمع في سياق مدينة بلد لمعرفة ما إذا كانت مفاهيم التباين والتكامل والتخصص والتفرد التي تقوم عليها النظرية ذات تأثير على الخدمات في المدينة وتأثيرها حول بنية العناصر الاجتماعية ومراحل تطورها. تمت مقارنة نتائج تحليل مفاهيم السياق الحي الموجودة في المدينة مع معايير الإسكان الحضري باستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية لتحديد مدى توافق السياق مع مفهوم نظرية سبنسر. وتوصل البحث إلى عدم قدرة الجانب البيولوجي للنظرية على تفسير التركز السكاني في الأحياء السكنية، وكذلك عدم الاعتماد على مفاهيم التباين والتكامل في التنبؤ بأسباب نمو وتوسع المدينة، وأن أظهرت أحياء المدينة تبايناً في خدماتها دون إظهار التكامل والتفرد في هذه الخدمات، أي عدم التكامل العضوي بين الأجزاء البيولوجية للمدينة.
