Article Processing Charges (APC)

Publication Fee

The Journal of Engineering and Sustainable Development is a fully open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to all accepted articles. There are no other fees (for example, submission charges, page charges, or color charges). The applicable APC is determined based on the date of submission for publication. The current APC for the Journal of Engineering and Sustainable Development is USD 400 (IQD 600,000).

Article Processing Charge Waivers

The Journal of Engineering and Sustainable Development provides a 100% Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver for articles whose international authors are all affiliated with institutions located in low-income countries, according to the World Bank's country income classifications.

Eligibility for a waiver is determined based on the institutional affiliations and countries listed in the article's author metadata at the time of submission. The classification of countries is based on the World Bank Country and Lending Groups.

Articles with authors from a combination of low-income and non-low-income countries are not eligible for the APC waiver.
