Comparative Study of Different Types of an Active Filter

This paper proposes different types of an active filters design. A comparative study between the theoretical analysis and practical design of different types of analog filters is presented.In this paper a comparison is made between Mat lab simulation toolbox for the Butterworth, Chebyshev, Elliptical filter and a practical simulation using Electronic workbench (EWB).In general, the results prove that a good agreement between the practical (experimental) and computer simulation (theoretical) by using the available Matlab toolboxes.
