The journal’s Citation Policy

Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Editorial Board Members,

As part of our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of academic integrity and scholarly quality, the Journal of Engineering and Sustainable Development (JEASD) reminds all contributors that adherence to the journal’s Citation Policy is mandatory.

This policy covers ethical citation practices, accurate and complete reference information, the use of appropriate scholarly sources (with priority to peer-reviewed academic work), and the avoidance of coercive or biased citation suggestions—particularly during peer review.

All authors must ensure full compliance with the policy before submitting manuscripts.
All reviewers are reminded not to request citations to their own work or to unrelated sources, as such requests violate ethical standards.
All editors are responsible for enforcing this policy throughout the editorial and review process.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned for revision or declined during initial screening.
